Child protection matters must be handled with the utmost care. Our experienced presenters teach you key strategic and advocacy skills at each stage of the case. They reinforce your understanding of the issues with numerous practical demonstrations, including conduct of temporary care and custody hearings, conferences, opening and closing statements, and witness examinations. You also receive pertinent materials including case law, precedents, and social science literature. You come away from this conference with a knowledge of the fundamentals to better serve your clients' interests.
