The Eight-Minute Environmental Lawyer is back! This program delivers a fast‑paced and engaging half‑day session built around to‑the‑point presentations on developments in environmental law. Designed for busy practitioners, each segment distills complex issues into practical insights that you need to stay current. Explore emerging trends, key cases, and regulatory changes shaping the landscape of environmental law. This session also features a fireside chat with a Superior Court of Justice judge, giving you a rare and candid perspective into environmental law from the bench.

• Get up to speed on major appeals shaping Ontario environmental policy, including Ontario Place Protectors v. Ontario and Cycle Toronto v. Ontario
• Learn about the emerging environmental and energy risks associated with AI data centres
• Explore how liability is assessed and allocated when contamination origins are uncertain or untraceable

If 11 people register, the cost of the event will be $120.00 + HST ($15.60) for a total of $135.60 for WRLA members.
